On Sunday March 30th 2014 Clean Up Our Water will be holding their first event at Brighton Beach.  Our main goal on the day is to remove the Northern Pacific Seastar, which is an invasive pest in Australia and can cause detrimental effects to our marine ecosystem.

We need as many volunteers to help out with the day to make this a success. We have arranged for many different ways you can help out. We have areas for divers, snorkelers, people who would prefer to walk in the shallows and people to walk on the shore removing rubbish.  We encourage you to bring your friends and loved ones along and spend a day cleaning up our water.
